My Point of View
This started out as one of my typical ‘Point of View’ perspective drawings - largely inspired by the great Kim Jung Gi - when I suddenly got carried away and sunk a bit more time into it.
Unlike my usual perspective drawings - which you can find on my instagram - this was a digital drawing done on my Wacom, which allowed me to have a bit of fun and take this further, as more of a colour study.
I wanted to get all the details out, and through the details maybe show a bit more of my tastes and interests. I’ve featured my website, Red Dead Redemption and some of my favourite albums on the side.
This was also loosely inspired by the works of Yun Ling and Alberto Mielgo - just in the way they capture accurate lifelike studies, but with a more abstract digital signature when you look closer.
